ANTIBES

Entre les remparts et le grand large Where history faces the sea

Between the Mediterranean, that lines its ramparts, and the fountains that cool its flower-filled lanes, discover Antibes. Port Vauban, Europe’s largest marina, sits alongside a daily Provençal market beneath stone arcades, as though luxury and authenticity had always known how to share the same cobblestones. Antibes doesn’t perform, it simply is.

Europe’s largest marina is more than a row of masts; It is a city within a city, with its own rhythms, its own silences, and its salt-laced mornings. Superyachts and local fishing boats share the same waters, a proximity that speaks to Antibes at its core : here, the open sea belongs to everyone, if only through the eyes and the memories.

Perched on its headland like a forgotten sentinel, Fort Carré has watched over the Baie des Anges since the 16th century. Napoleon was once held prisoner within its walls, a detail that stone hasn’t forgotten. Today, its bastions offer one of the most striking panoramas on the Riviera, caught between sea and mountain, between then and now.

Behind the stone pines and bougainvillea-draped

walls, Cap d’Antibes is home to one of

Europe’s most quietly exceptional concentrations of private estates. Neither ostentatious nor ordinary, the Cap embodies an elegance that asks for nothing in return. It is precisely that silence which makes it so rare and so sought after.
